I.    Procedures
  1. Please use the on-line form and submit your application electronically by May 23, 2008. A link to the on-line form can be found below in Section IV. "Application".
  2. After submitting your application on-line, send the following by U.S. Mail:

a.    501 (c) (3) certificate, only if you are a new applicant.

b.    Most recent financial audit.

c.    Agency budget for 2008.

d.    Line item budget for the program to be funded, if different from the above.

  3. Before submission, please review your application form to be certain that all questions have been addressed.       
  4. All items, on-line and postal mail, must be received by May 23, 2008..
  The Highland Park Community Foundation reviews and makes the final determination on all grant applications. Applicants will be notified about the Board's decision along with any conditions that may apply to the grant. Grant recipients are required to report on how funds were used as soon as possible within a year of receipt.

III. Guidelines
 
  1. The HPCF entertains grant proposals from agencies and organizations which have the following characteristics:
    1. IRS 501 (c) (3) nonprofit status (current)
    2. Population served must be at least 51% Highland Park residents
